Klimove VK-1 > PF-1 for JJ-1 and WP-5 for J-5 (license built MiG-17)

Tumanskt R-9 engine > WP-6 engine for J-6 (license built MiG-19)

Tumansky R-13 engine > WP-13 engine for J-7 (based on MiG-21)

Tumansky R-29 engine > WP-15 engine for J-13 (cancelled)

이후로는 연비가 나쁜 터보제트 엔진은 더 이상 개발하지 않는 듯 하다.

J79 engine from F-4 Phantom II > WS-6 Turbofan engine (failed)

* WS-8 engine for Shanghai Y-10 airliner (cancelled)

Rolls-Royce Spey Mk.202 > WS-9 Turbofan engine (failed)

CFM56 engine and experience gained from WS-6 engine > WS-10 Turbofan engine (success)
